Kylie Jenner ''isn't as wild as she seems''.

The 17-year-old reality TV star - who recently confirmed she's had lip fillers - is rumoured to be dating 25-year-old rapper Tyga but a source close to Kylie has claimed her social persona isn't necessarily reality.

The source said: ''People think she is wild but she really isn't as wild as she seems or puts out there.

''She's definitely a rebel and does what she wants - hair how she wants, dresses how she wants - but there's also a certain persona she's putting out there.''

What's more, the insider said that despite posting provocative images of herself on social media websites, Kylie can be restrained.

The source told PEOPLE magazine: ''She loves to feel sexy and post sexy things but she isn't that wild.

''Her sisters aren't worried. She's so close with everyone that they know what she's doing and who she's hanging out with.''

Earlier this week, Kim Kardashian West insisted her half-sister Kylie ''didn't lie'' about having lip fillers.

Kim, 34, said Kylie ''looks beautiful'' and revealed that she contemplated the decision for some time.

The 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' star said: ''She didn't lie, it took her a while to actually make that decision to do it and once she decided to plump them, she was still over-lining, then sometimes it would look too big, then she figured out to stop over-lining.

''She plumped them and she was happy with it. People think 'Oh my god she lied for so long - now she's finally come clean' but that's not really the case, it took her a while to do it.''
