Previously unpublished photos of the scene of Kurt Cobain's suicide have been released on the 19th anniversary of his death.
The Nirvana frontman was found dead in the greenhouse at his Lake Washington home in Seattle, Washington on 5 April, 1994, and now editors at local publication the Seattle Post-Intelligencer have marked his untimely passing by releasing previously unseen images of the pad on Friday (05Apr13).
In the accompanying caption, they write, "A few (images) were published after Cobain's death in 1994. But most of them have sat in the same negative sleeves they were placed in the day they were taken."
The rocker is believed to have shot himself in the head, despite conspiracy theories about his passing.
