Twilight star Kristen Stewart is not going to answer any questions on her controversial break up with fellow actor and former colleague Robert Pattinson, reports gossip God Perez Hilton. The Hollywood couple's recent high profile split isn't something the On The Road actor is willing to discuss.
The 22-year old missed the London premier of the highly anticipated movie adaption of On The Road, and is reportedly staying under the radar until the Toronto Film Festival hits next month. It will be the only promotional work Stewart has done for her new film, considering her unceremonious and much-talked-about break-up. "Kristen has been hiding ever since the story of her affair with Rupert broke - and she doesn't plan on breaking that habit just yet" reports a source on PerezHilton.com, "unlike Rob, who faced the music and threw himself into promoting his new movie Cosmopolis, Kristen isn't comfortable with facing a barrage of questions about the cheating scandal."
Pattison has been more forthcoming with public appearances, but like his ex-girlfriend, he won't be drawn into interviewing about the split. He has however been moved to condemn the media and their treatment of the erstwhile couple during a difficult time. "Media culture is a monstrous thing," he told the LA Times "You can't win. The annoying thing is that you can't attack them, but you can't defend yourself. The best thing you could possibly do is punch a paparazzi and give them their big payday."
