Kristen Stewart has not only been ditched by her boyfriend Robert Pattinson, but now apparently by Universal Studios.
The 'Twilight' actress starred in the fairytale adventure film 'Snow White and the Huntsman' directed by Rupert Sanders as the female title character. Now, Universal have put away plans for a sequel and have decided to instead concentrate on a spin-off with the Huntsman, played by Chris Hemsworth, without Snow White. The decision comes soon after the 22-year-old actress admitted having an affair with director Sanders, who happens to be married to another star in the movie, Liberty Ross. They were both caught on camera kissing in a car and left their respective partners devastated. Both cheats released public apologies appealing for forgiveness.
It is not yet entirely clear whether Sanders will return as the director but David Koepp, who was employed to write the 'Snow White and the Huntsman' sequel screenplay, has been ruled out of involvement in the production of the spin-off. A Universal spokesperson explained: 'The studio is currently exploring options to continue the franchise.' There are currently rumors that filming is set to commence in July 2013 as soon as Chris Hemsworth is free of other movie projects.
