Kristen Bell says coffee tastes ''better'' now she's married.

The 'Veronica Mars' actress tied the knot with 'Parenthood' star Dax Shepard on Thursday (17.10.13) and she has confirmed the news on Twitter by claiming the simpler things in live are much better now she has a husband.

She wrote: ''Wife coffee tastes way better than regular coffee in morning.''

The tweet comes after reports they got married in a low-key ceremony late last week after deciding to delay their big day until gay marriage was made legal in California.

After going in to get their marriage licence, an employee at the Beverly Hills County Clerk's Office in Los Angeles suggested an impromptu wedding, which Kristen is said to have cried throughout.

The couple had been engaged since 2010, and an insider noted that the birth of their seven-month-old daughter Lincoln helped push them towards setting a date.

The source told UsMagazine.com: ''It wasn't any particular pressure put on them, but having a baby now did push them towards making everything a bit more official, just to be seen as husband and wife officially for the sake of Lincoln.

''They are both great parents and love being with each other constantly.''
