Kris Jenner and Ben Flajnik have ''cooled things off''.

The reality TV matriarch had been linked to the former 'Bachelor' hunk since splitting with her husband of 22 years, Bruce Jenner, last October, but has decided to enjoy being single for a while rather than rushing into a relationship.

A source told Hollywoodlife.com: ''Kris and Ben have cooled things off a bit. But they still text all the time. Kris loves being single, she feels like one of her daughters, young and carefree, that's Kris.''

However, Ben will appear in the forthcoming series of 'Keeping up with the Kardashians', when Kris and her friend Jonathan Cheban go to visit him at his winery.

The source added it is likely not to be the last viewers see of the toy boy either, adding: ''She's slowly introducing his character next season.''

Kris, 58, and Ben, 31, were spotted on dates at Kanye West's concert in Los Angeles in October and also enjoyed a shopping trip in New York City later that month, but were apart over Christmas and New Year, which Kris said was all about having time to ''relax with the family''.

Despite their split Kris and Bruce remain very close and he was with her and his family over the holiday season.
