Kris Jenner has just released her first cookbook (yes really). But seriously, when your life is as interesting as the Kardashian matriarch’s, who’s really going to be asking for your recipes? That certainly seemed the case when Kris stopped by the 'Today' show on Monday, where she decided to use her time to clear up a few old rumours, rather than serve up some new dishes.

Titled In the Kitchen with Kris: A Kollection of Kardashian-Jenner Family Favorites, the cookbook (or should that be kookbook?), is dedicated to Kris’s loved ones but has Bruce’s name noticeably omitted. 

"I did it for the kids this time," she explained to 'Today' show host Hoda Kotb. "Bruce and I were getting a divorce. I mean, he's a great guy, but I just did it for the kids and the grandkids.”

Kris filled for divorce from Bruce after 23 years of marriage last month, a year after the couple announced their separation. Still there doesn't seem to be any hard feelings between the pair

"I think at some point in your life you have to make a decision to do what's right for your family and the kids," she said. "And I think that we decided to be grownups. We're just better apart than we are together, but we're still really good friends,” Kris added.

But last week rumours that Bruce was now dating Kris’s former bff Ronda Kamihira sent the tabloids into a frenzy, but contrary to the stories, Kris seemed unfazed, "I don't care who he goes out with," she told Kotb, adding, "I just want him to be happy!”

”He doesn't like check in with me and give me a play by play, but it's his life, and you just want the guy to be happy," she said. "You know, he's still the father of two of my children. We're friends.”

Still on the subject of her ex, Kris also addressed tabloid rumours claiming that Bruce is 'developing into a woman'. "It's silly," she said. "They've been saying that since the '70s. You'd think it'd be cooked by now, I don't know—but [that storyline] keeps continuing....They keep regurgitating the same old stuff.”
