Is It Crack At The Bottom Of Khloe Kardashian And Lamar Odom's Marriage Troubles?

Rumors have been running rampant about the troubled marriage of Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom. Most gossip columns put the apparent problems between the two down to Odom’s reported cheating, however, according to TMZ, it’s the baller’s substance abuse that’s putting much more strain on the relationship. According to the gossip website, Odom’s particular addiction is to “crack” which is known to be a severe problem and a notoriously difficult one to kick.

Khloe and Lamar's four-year marriage first ran into trouble last year.

According to the gossip website, the LA Clipper checked into a rehab facility last year at the behest of his wife of almost four years. The website also claims that Odom only stayed for three weeks, before quitting the program. However, after that unsuccessful attempt, Odom reportedly cleaned out before the start of basketball season, only to start abusing again once the season had ended. At this point, however, the news around the marriage is mostly comprised of third party reports and speculation and nothing will be known for certain until either Khloe or Lamar steps up to give a statement.

The pair don't live together at present, according to reports.

This was reportedly also the reason for Khloe kicking the baller out of their shared home recently. TMZ reports that the reality star was fed up with Lamar’s failure to kick the habit, after he refused a staged intervention. It is unclear where the marriage stands now, or how, if at all, this is going to affect Odom’s basketball career.

So far, the addiction hasn't affected Odom's basketball career.
