The reality star and her NBA star husband are said to be having crisis talks over their marriage following reports of drug use and infidelity on his behalf
It looks as though Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom are holding crisis talks over their marriage, with the couple believed to be in 'make or break' discussions over whether their marriage can be brought back from the brink. According to TMZ, the main threat to their marriage is Lamar, or rather his ongoing drug abuse problem, which has gotten so severe that it could spell the end of their marriage for good.
Khloe and Lamar in happier times
According to TMZ's report, Lamar has been struggling with an unspecified drug problem for at least 2 years, a problem that apparently got so bad that Khloe ordered her husband to stay at a San Diego rehab facility last August, something that he was so opposed to that Khloe had to hire 24 hour surveillance to make sure he didn't try to escape. After only three weeks Odom left the rehab clinic for good, although he apparently left the facility clean and was able to play a full season for the Clippers without his drug problems re-emerging. However, once the season was over he soon slipped back into his old ways and now their marriage is really feeling the strain.
Khloe is said to have had enough of Lamar's ways
If his drug problems weren't enough, the recent reports that Lamar has been unfaithful to his wife have put further strain on their relationship. Khloe apparently believes that the rumours are true, but for the time being she is more concerned with helping her husband overcome his drug problems. As one source told TMZ, "Khloe is more concerned about saving Lamar than ending her marriage."
As it stands, neither Khloe or Lamar have contacted their lawyers about a potential divorce, but things are looking increasingly likely that their marriage won't last much longer, especially given that Lamar was seen loading suitcases into his car outside the home he shares with the Kardashian earlier this week.
