Khloé Kardashian has admitted she never wanted to be famous when she was younger after experiencing how it was for Nicole Richie.
Khloé Kardashian never wanted to be famous.
The 30-year-old star has admitted she wasn't keen on being in the public eye when she was younger and never expected her family's popular E! reality TV show 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians', which is now in its tenth season, to take off as well as it did.
She explained: ''I never thought about being famous, it was never something that I aspired to be. One of my friends, Nicole Richie, was in the spotlight when we were younger. The paparazzi would follow us and I'd be like, 'Go away, I don't want to be in these pictures, this is too much.'
''Then 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' came along and I was like, 'Whatever, everybody wants to do this, so let's do it. We didn't really think the show would last.''
However, the brunette beauty - who has a clothing line, a beauty line and three DASH stores with her famous siblings Kim Kardashian West and Kourtney Kardashian - believes she wouldn't be too disheartened if her fame was swiped away from her as early as tomorrow.
Asked how she'd feel if her celebrity status was taken away from her, she told Australia's Cosmopolitan magazine: ''I don't know if I'd feel relieved because I'm blessed for it all and I wouldn't want to sound ungrateful. But I'm not going to be sad - I'm going to smile because it happened. I know this isn't going to last forever.''
