Landing in the second position is non-mover, Mark Wahlberg's 'Lone Survivor' which earned $21.2 million. Following this was The Nut Job', an animated film that follows the friendship of a rat and squirrel, starring the voices of Will Arnett and Brendan Fraser, reached No.3 with 12.3 million.

Mark Wahlberg's 'Lone Survivor' maintains No.2 spot

Landing in the 4th spot was Disney's, highly acclaimed, animated film 'Frozen' which still maintains a top ten position despite being released back in November, earning $9 million. Rounding off the top 5 was the new adaptation of Tom Clancy's CIA analyst Jack Ryan. 'Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit' raked in $8.8 million.
