Kerry Katona wants her friend David Gest to officiate her wedding to George Kay next summer.
Kerry Katona wants David Gest to marry her.
The reality star can't wait to tie the knot with her fiancé George Kay - with whom she is expecting a baby boy - and hopes her showbiz pal David will conduct the ceremony and her 'Big Reunion' co-stars will perform at the wedding.
She told the new UK issue of OK! magazine: ''We're thinking it will be in August and David Gest is going to marry us. 'The Big Reunion' lot will be there and Blue will sing as well as Kevin Simm from Liberty X - he has such an amazing voice. Michelle Heaton tweets me, saying, 'How's yours cooking? Mine's cooking nicely!' ''
Kerry - who already has four children, Molly, 12, and Lilly Sue, 10, with her first husband Brian McFadden, and Heidi, six, and five-year-old son Max with her second spouse Mark Croft - hasn't let her second bankruptcy stop her from planning her best wedding yet and she thinks the budget bash could be the ideal subject of her next TV show.
She said: ''We're working on a budget and George and I are a team. I'm very fortunate to have many friends who want to help out. I want everyone to have a good time - I want an open mic so everyone can get up for a good old sing-song.
''I'll definitely get up with the girls. It would be a great reality show. This is for me, so I'm going out with a bang.''
The 33-year-old star is hoping to get frozen foods specialist Iceland - who ended their advertising contract with her 2009 after she was revealed to have taken cocaine - to cater at her wedding.
She said: ''I want a big wedding. I don't like posh food so I'm going to ask Iceland to do finger food, they do amazing fish, chips and peas - that would be hilarious!''
