Kelly Rowland appeared at the Salvation Army's Rock the Red Kettle concert in Los Angeles last night (07.12.13).
The 'Work' singer supported the fundraising event - which saw performances by Austin Mahone, Emblem 3, Coco Jones and Bean - urging everyone to donate to the charity over the festive season.
She said: ''I don't know about you, but I'm so excited about the holiday and when they come around, I always think of the Salvation Army, and their red kettles [fundraising boxes], and how much they do for so many families and children in inner city communities and I'm really happy to be attached to it.''
Kelly's address came after energetic performances at the Universal Studios CityWalk by Coco Jones and newcomer Bean, who opened the show and gave a stirring rendition of her latest single 'Cops and Robbers'. Earlier she explained how she has her sights set on a collaboration with British singer Ed Sheeran.
She told BANG Showbiz: ''I love Ed Sheeran, his amazing guitar playing and beatboxing, but most of all his lyrics, 'Lego House', 'Small Bump', they're so clever, the most simple of ideas put into such elaborate words, its so unique, I'd love to write with that guy. I fancy him quite a bit.''
Later in the evening Emblem 3 were greeted with deafening cheers from hundreds of teenage fans, as they performed hits including '3000 Miles' and 'Chloe (You're the One That I Want)'.
Austin then went on to close the show, starting his set with huge track 'Say You're Just a Friend'.
He then addressed the crowd, saying: ''What's up Los Angeles? Hey guys, are you staying warm? I hope so. Are you ready to have a good time tonight?''
Austin then performed songs from his upcoming debut, including 'Say Something' and 'Heart in my Hand' and at one point had to tell the excitable crowd to stop throwing presents for him on stage. He finished his set with 'What About Love'.
Sheffield's very own all girl group Pretty Fierce are still on a high after the recent release of their debut single - 'Ready For Me'.
Three nights before the end of his current tour Will Varley returned to his home town of Deal to delight a sold out crowd in The Astor Theatre.
