Kelly Rowland has been eating fried chicken for breakfast.

The former Destiny's Child singer is eight months pregnant with her and husband Tim Witherspoon's first child and has reportedly been indulging all her cravings for calorific treats.

A source said: ''Kelly has gained over 40lbs and blames her cravings.

''She eats fried chicken with peppers for breakfast and loves croissants with butter and pretzels stuffed with cheese and mustard.

''She's eating lots of cake and raw cookie dough - but without raw eggs.''

The 33-year-old star has already hired personal trainer Marco Borges, who helped her friend Beyonce slim down after she gave birth to her daughter Blue Ivy, now two.

The source added to Closer magazine: ''She's already hired Beyonce's trainer and after her baby arrives she plans to go vegan and do bootcamp-style workouts every morning, just like Beyonce did.''
