R&B star Kelly Rowland and N-Dubz singer Tulisa Contostavlos will help to pick the U.K.'s next big pop act after joining the panel of judges on British talent show The X Factor.
The two stars will sit alongside Take That frontman Gary Barlow and Irish music mogul Louis Walsh when the eighth season of the hit programme airs later this year (11).
Former Destiny's Child star Rowland is delighted to have landed a role on the judging panel and is hopeful of finding a singer to rival current British chart sensations Adele and Jessie J.
She says, "I am so excited to join The X Factor U.K... the music coming out of the U.K. right now is incredible with artists like Adele, Jessie J and James Blake, so I'm confident this season of The X Factor will give me opportunity to hear a few diamonds in the rough.
"Being a judge is never easy, but I promise to be as sternly honest as I can and also encourage everyone who crosses the stage. I can't wait to meet the world's next superstar!"
Rowland, Barlow and Contostavlos replace outgoing trio Dannii Minogue, Cheryl Cole and Simon Cowell, who is preparing to launch The X Factor Stateside.
Pop star Cole had quit the U.K. post to join Cowell on the upcoming U.S. series, but the British beauty was last week (ends27May11) reported to have been dropped from the judging panel, leaving her without any job in the reality show franchise.
