R&B singer Kelis has blasted airport bosses in the U.S. after a suitcase containing her prized designer dresses and shoes went missing during a flight.
The Milkshake hitmaker was travelling to a video shoot - believed to be for her new single Acapella - on Monday night (15Mar10) when she arrived in Los Angeles to discover her luggage was not on the plane.
The distraught star asked airline staff how to locate her case, which contained Christian Louboutin shoes and Vivienne Westwood dresses, and was infuriated by their "indignant" attitude.
But she told her followers on micro-blogging website Twitter.com that filming should go ahead as planned - because she made sure all her essential items were in her carry-on bag.
Kelis wrote, "I am at airport, sans (without) luggage, not happy. How is it that they 'lose' bags? Does that make any sense? Let me answer, no it absolutely does NOT.
"Oh did I mention I have a 9am call time, which would be fine if I wasn't still here staring at this empty baggage conveyor belt. Not happy. The good news is, however that I don't trust these airport scoundrels, so all the glorious treats I had made for video are nicely packed in my carry-on. Still not happy about this.
"And it's not just the lost (sic) of my stuff that p**ses me off. It's the person behind the counter's indignant attitude as though I'm the horse's a** for wanting my stuff back. Or excuse me naively, blindly optimisticly (sic) expecting my trunk filled with treasures to come barrelling down. That is not the case here. I am too tired to even weep over the loubiton (sic), westwoods, etc etc that will not be going home with me this morning. Ugh, not happy."
