Katy Perry has stormed to the top of the U.K. singles chart - the singer's track CALIFORNIA GURLS debuted at number one on Sunday (27Jun10).
The song marks Perry's second British number one - she reached the top spot in 2008 with I Kissed A Girl.
K'Naan's soccer chant Wavin' Flag held on to second position, while last week's (20Jun10) highest entry, British rapper Dizzee Rascal's Shout, slipped to third place.
Elsewhere in the chart Eminem scored two top 10 slots - Not Afraid moved up to number five, while his collaboration with Rihanna, Love The Way You Lie, debuted at seven.
And the rapper is also celebrating after landing his sixth U.K. number one album - his record Recovery shot straight to the top of the chart.
Meanwhile, Oasis' compilation Time Flies... 1994 to 2009, dropped into second place, while The End by The Black Eyed Peas, Example's Won't Go Quietly and Lady Gaga's The Fame rounded out the top five.
