The 1D star wrote "I love you, will you marry me?" following Perry's 'X Factor' performance over the weekend
One Direction's Niall Horan has a bevy of female fans that would jump at the chance just to share the same air as him, but the Irish boyband star only has one girl on his mind; Katy Perry. Following Perry's Saturday night (19 October) performance on The X Factor, Horan was so overwhelmed with the buxom singer that he was compelled to profess his love of the 'Roar' hit maker.
Niall has a thing for Katy, and isn't afraid to let her know
"I love you @katyperry! Thank you! Ps. Will u marry me?" the 20-year-old joked in his tweet. So far, Perry hasn't replied to the initial tweet, but maybe she's just being coy.
I love you @katyperry ! Thank you! Ps . Will u marry me?

The pair do have a history, as it was Perry's final vote in the 2010 season of The X Factor that secured Niall a place in the boot camp stage of the talent contest. At the time Perry told a then-16-year-old Horan that she was impressed with him, but admitted that he did need to work on his singing and stage presence to become a star. Given the immense success of 1D today, Perry's advice must have stuck with the boy band member.
Perry's appearance on the British version of the hit talent show contest this weekend marked her first live performance following the release of her long-awaited new album, Prism. Her fourth studio album to date, Perry released Prism on 18 October and has already received some rave reviews and soared to the top of the iTunes Chart across the globe.
