Pop star Katy Perry will be joined by a domestic abuse victim during her performance at Sunday night's (08Feb15) Grammy Awards.
Brooke Axtell, a campaigner against domestic violence and sexual assault, will perform a written word piece as the Roar hitmaker sings her inspirational track By the Grace of God.
Axtell tells People.com, "It's an honour to collaborate with Katy in this way. She has been very devoted to various aspects of female empowerment. It's going to bring a lot of encouragement and freedom to those who hear my story and know that they are not alone in this."
Perry and Axtell join a long list of high-profile stars, including Rihanna, Kanye West and Sam Smith, who will perform during the annual event at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
