Katy Perry is one MTV darling who just keeps coming back – this time she will be at the EMAs (European Music Awards), almost three months after performing at the oh-so-scandalous VMAs back in August, the good folk from MTV have announced. On 10 November, Perry will take the stage in Amsterdam to perform 'Unconditionally' – the second single off her third album, Prism. The EMA audience might be in for an even bigger treat than those who got to witness the singer’s performance of 'Roar' at the VMAs, since Perry has mentioned in previous interviews that 'Unconditionally' is actually her favorite track off the album.

Katy Perry, iTunes Festival
The 'Roar'singer's schedule is fully booked these days, most recently with an appearance at the iTunes festival in London.

This is a return to the EMAs for Perry, who got to host in both 2008 and 2009. The same cannot be said about the other lead performer, however. Ron Burgundy, the 70s news anchor and lead character in Anchorman, was recently announced as the other lead act of the EMAs. Of course Will Ferrell or rather, Ron Burgundy, is sure to bring some class to the event, if only by bringing his perfectly quaffed hair to the event.

To get an idea of the kind of wit you can expect from Ferrell/Burgundy, check out the trailer below.

As for the nominees list, it looks fairly similar to that of the VMAs, with Macklemore and Ryan Lewis and Justin Timberlake dominating with five nominations each, followed closely by Lady GaGa, Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus and Robin Thicke, each of whom managed to snag four nods. Other members of the in-crowd up for several awards are Jay Z, Taylor Swift and of course, where would a nominees list be without One Direction? It’s shaping up to be an evening fairly similar to the VMAs, except, since Miley hasn’t yet been announced to perform, it will probably feature a lot less twerking. No objections here.

The EMAs will air on November 10 at 6pm ET/PT.
