The 28-year-old pop star is a big fan of the rapper's latest single 'Hold On We're Going Home' and thinks it's the perfect soundtrack to a steamy make-out session with her musician boyfriend.

Katy made the admission while guest DJing on iTunes Radio, saying: ''Who doesn't love Drake? Drake is so sensitive but yet still so cool. It's a very hard balance to find sometimes - emotional guys that are sensitive but strong, and Drake is definitely that kind of guy.

''And he really hit home on this next one called 'Hold On'. I think it's beautiful. It sounds a little bit like kind of old vibey Lionel Richie [or] The Weeknd. It's sexy as hell. I listen to it with my boyfriend, so I would suggest listening to it with whoever you wanna make out with.''

Drake isn't the only star who gets the 'Roar' hitmaker hot under the collar.

Katy previously admitted crooner Miguel's sensual song 'Adorn' - which includes lyrics such as ''These lips can't wait to taste your skin'' - also helps set the mood for her and John, 35.

She recalled telling Miguel: ''My boyfriend and I listen to it all the time. He actually turned me on to it, and that song turns me on.''
