We’re just days away from the Grammy Awards where music’s biggest stars will be honoured on one of the most important nights of their career. But before the stars get to enjoy themselves, why not let Jimmy Kimmel take them down a few pegs and deliver some harsh words for our entertainment? Yes everybody ‘Mean Tweets’ is back!

Katy PerryKaty Perry was among the stars participating in the latest edition of 'mean tweets'.

In the segment’s second musical edition, a host of big name stars suffered by reading some of the least contrastive criticism on the planet. Case in point, poor Ed Sheeran having to read, “Hey look Ed Sheeran is still ugly.”

But as hurtful as it may have sounded at least the ‘Thinking Out Loud’ singer was able to laugh about it and he wasn’t the only one whose appearance came under scrutiny. Rapper Drake was told he looks like Harry Potter villain Voldemort, but with hair. While Wiz Khalifa read that he resembles a "homeless woman”.

Britney Spears was told, "The weather in New York right now is like a young Britney Spears: pretty hot, kinda gross,” while one tweeter theorised that a Lady Gaga fragrance probably "smells like d**k".

Another user had very specific ideas about what they wanted to do to Iggy Azalea’s famous mole, “I really just wanna flick Iggy Azalea’s stupid mole off her face and into the bin,” wrote CalBro_.

In another all too specific comment, user afrogirl23 said that Katy Perry had a voice which reminded her of “balls covered in glass sliding down my throat”, before adding “nice gal.”

Also reading a bit of harsh criticism online was Korean pop star Psy, you know the ‘Gangnam Style’ guy. Psy read a comment from user huntingbieber who said he wanted to “shove a stick up Psy's ass o he can't dance anymore,” to which the singer replied, “You can do it, but I still can dance.”
