Caroline Herrera has dubbed Karlie Kloss the ''perfect model''.
The 76-year-old fashion designer has praised the blonde beauty after she opened and closed her runway show at New York Fashion Week yesterday (16.02.14) and confessed the blue mini shift dress sported by the 22-year-old model was her favourite piece of the Autumn/Winter 2015 collection.
When asked to name her favourite look from the show, Carolina told the Daily Telegraph newspaper: ''All of them. If I didn't like them they wouldn't be in the show.''
She then singled out the Victoria's Secret angel, saying: ''She's the perfect model, so strong and beautiful.''
The New York based designer's hotly anticipated catwalk show which was held at the Lincoln Centre featured ethereal flared silk jacquard dresses, floor-length black gowns, a crimson wool coat and a blue fox fur-adorned shift top, was attended by a host of celebrity guests including Olivia Palermo, Coco Rocha and Dianna Agron.
Prior to the show, the Venezuelan-born designer denied looking to past collections for inspiration and expressed her desire to create and an entirely new line.
She explained: ''I don't do years, I'm trying to go to the future.''
Carolina - who is known for having dressed US first ladies from Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis to Michelle Obama - has also confessed she doesn't concern herself with criticisms of her collections.
She previously said: ''People get so paranoid about fashion. Everyone thinks it has to be chaos everywhere. We're only making dresses. If it doesn't work, we'll make another one.''
