Karl Lagerfeld has designed a Bavarian-inspired capsule collection.
The 79-year-old designer's unusual new line celebrates the opening of his first dedicated concept store in Munich, Germany.
WWD report the range will coincide with the 180th anniversary of Oktoberfest - the annual beer festival held in the German city - and the collection will feature traditional Bavarian attire with a twist.
This includes the dirndl skirt, a white blouse and a pinafore, but the designer is planning on experimenting with the traditional look and adding a ''rock 'n' roll edge'' by using black leather.
Karl isn't planning to retire in the near future and despite his eccentric reputation he insists he ''can't be that horrible'' because some of his employees have spent their lives working for him.
He previously said: ''Why should I slow down? What a bore! I have a very healthy life: I don't smoke, I don't eat too much, I don't drink, don't take drugs. My head is like a crystal ball and I have no need of slowing down.
''You know some people have worked with me for 30 years and never had another job, so I can't be that horrible.''
The collection will also be stocked at the designer's Berlin concept store which expected to open in September.
