Rapper Kanye West briefly halted his concert in New Jersey twice on Saturday (05Nov11) after becoming frustrated by the lack of stage lighting as he played his hit song All Of The Lights.
The hip-hop star was performing a string of his solo hits at the Izod Center as part of his Watch The Throne tour with Jay Z, but he felt the need to stop the show just moments into the introduction of his Rihanna collaboration.
Calling out to the stage engineers, West said, "Stop, stop, stop! The song's called All of the Lights. I want all of the lights up there, up here, down there..."
The track started up again, but West halted the song almost immediately as he was still not satisfied with the stage illumination.
The issue was promptly rectified and West continued his performance as bright, colourful lights lit up the arena.
