Bosses at U.S. superstore chain Wal-Mart have dismissed Kanye West's accusation that they have banned his new album from their shelves.
West took to his Twitter.com page this week (beg18Oct10) to rant about the negative reaction to the cover of his latest record, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.
The rapper alleged executives at Wal-Mart had "banned" the CD, because they deemed the artwork too racy.
Wal-Mart chiefs have now hit back, insisting they never refused to stock the album and claiming West didn't even offer the cover for their approval.
A statement from the company reads, "We're excited about Kanye West's new album and we look forward to carrying it in our stores on November 22nd. As always, it's our standard practice to carry the edited parental advisory version. We did not reject the cover artwork and it was never presented to us to view."
