Kanye West admits Taylor Swift was a no-show at the launch of his Adidas collaboration at New York Fashion Week.
The 37-year-old rapper, who recently revealed he is planning to work with the 'Blank Space' hitmaker as they have buried the hatchet since he famously humiliated her when she won Best Female Video instead of Beyoncé at the MTV Video Music Awards in 2009, says she ''was supposed'' to be one of the guests at his star-studded runway show on Thursday (12.02.15).
Asked if he would like to see the blonde beauty wearing some of his new designs, he told André Leon Talley for Vogue.com: ''Yeah, I think she was supposed to be here today, so I don't know what happened. I'd like to see everyone wearing everything.''
But a source close to the 'Shake It Off' hitmaker insists she was forced to miss the event because of a pre-scheduled photo-shoot.
The insider told E! News: ''Taylor wanted to attend but had a scheduled photo shoot that day that she could not move.''
Kanye and Taylor posed for photographs together at the Grammy Awards in Los Angeles last Sunday (08.02.15) and he later claimed she was disappointed he didn't storm the stage after Beck won Album of the Year instead of Beyoncé.
He said: ''Taylor Swift came up to me right afterwards, literally right afterwards, and tells me I should have went on stage. This is the irony of my life!''
He also admitted he was looking forward to working with the 25-year-old singer, saying: ''She wants to get in the studio, and we're definitely going to go in.''
Despite Taylor skipping his event, Kanye received a lot of support from his celebrity pals at his fashion show, including Beyoncé, Justin Bieber, Jay Z, Big Sean, Diddy, Rihanna and Vogue editor Anna Wintour.
