Bosses at soft drink giant Pepsi have hit out at reports that they've dumped rapper Kanye West as a product spokesperson for the comments he made about US President George W Bush.
After West caused controversy by branding Bush a racist during a live Hurricane Katrina telethon recently, an email circulated urging individuals to boycott Pepsi for ditching the JESUS WALKS rapper's current ad campaign.
But NICOLE BRADLEY, public relations manager of Pepsi-Cola North America tells AllHipHop.com, "This is to inform you that you've received an erroneous email regarding Kanye West and Pepsi. The letter said that Kanye has lost his endorsement deal with Pepsi, which is not true.
"Our relationship with Kanye has not changed and our marketing campaign is continuing as planned. In fact, his Pepsi commercial is scheduled to air several times this week."
