Kanye West certainly knows how to cause a stir in the Twitter universe. Fresh from performing on-stage in Manchester, UK, with Jay Z as part of their 'Watch the Throne' world tour, Twitter users began claiming the rapper had uploaded a photograph that nearly sent the micro-blogging website into meltdown.
The image in question featured a tanned curvaceous woman - not unlike his girlfriend Kim Kardashian - sat nude on a bed, devouring some sort of cake. Predictably, the reality star's name began trending worldwide, with fans assuming the image was of her. The woman certainly bears a strong resemblance to Kardashian (despite not being able to see her face), though somebody else appears to be getting in on the act. The adult film star Amia Miley tweeted that the image is actually of her, which aroused suspicions that Kanye never posted the image in the first place. Tmz.com claim the image was never uploaded by the superstar rapper, and was in fact part of something called 'W*nksterWednesday' - a prank day on Twitter where people attempt to get bogus rumors started.
Either way, Kim Kardashian has yet to comment on the image, despite using her Twitter account early on Wednesday to tell followers, "Rise and grind! Just finished an intense early morning workout! Have a good day everyone!"
