Can Kim rally his fans to make a decision?
Seriously? Kanye West is apparently being very indecisive when it comes to his upcoming new album, the name of which we still unable to confirm. Now it's got to a point where his wife Kim Kardashian is appealing to his fans via Twitter to decide on the final name, even though we thought 'Waves' was going to be it.
Kanye West appeals to fans over 'Waves'
It's not uncommon for a musician to change his mind about an initial working title for an album once the project nears its end. Originally entitled 'So Help Me God', he began the project in 2013 and later changed the name to 'Swish'. He did warn us that there may be another name change in the future, and sure enough, last week he revealed the new name: 'Waves'.
We thought that was the end, but now it seems West is still not entirely fixed on that title. 'Which album title do you guys like better?' Wife Kim asked her Twitter followers, with a poll between 'Swish' and 'Waves'. This initial vote seemed fairly equally divided, but when she re-did it to include 'So Help Me God', it was that one that came out as the real winner. It's unknown whether or not Kanye will take into account his fans' opinions (since when has he ever?), but he'll probably be surprised to learn that his original idea was the favourite.
More: Kanye will perform 'Waves' at Madison Square Gardens
As for what we do know about the album so far, the tracklist will be split into three acts and will include last year's 'Wolves' featuring Sia Furler and Vic Mensa, 'Real Friends' featuring Ty Dolla $ign, 'Fade' also featuring Ty as well as Post Malone, and 'No More Parties in L.A.' featuring Kendrick Lamar.
What's more, we know it'll be released on February 11th 2016, whatever it's going to be called.
