Kanye West hired 30 stylists to help him create the looks for his show at New York Fashion Week.
According to the 'Stronger' hitmaker's close friend, Russell Simmons, he called in the group of professionals and worked for 72 hours straight in order to finish the Yeezy Boost trainer collection for Adidas Originals, which he debuted on Thursday (12.02.14).
Russell told the New York Post newspaper: ''I was there the night before. Kanye had been locked in that studio for 72 hours. I left, went to Chris Rock's birthday, came back, he's still there at 2 a.m. He had like 30 French and Italian guys running around, and everything that they did was inspired only by his direction.''
While the show - which was attended by US Vogue editor Anna Wintour, Beyonce, Jay Z, Kanye's wife Kim Kardashian West and their 19-month-old daughter North West - received mix reviews from critics, Russell insists the collection is going to be a ''big hit''.
He said of the line - which featured oversized camouflage jackets, nude bodysuits and a variety of footwear from elastic-adorned high top trainers to knee high suede boots: ''His style and influence is so obvious. I'm old, I'm 57, and I've got drop-crotch pants.
''There is no reason why his collection, which really is meticulously designed and overseen by him, should not be a big hit. [I wonder] if [those] who are supposed to be judging understand how much detail, how thoughtful that show was.''
Kanye's sister in law Kylie Jenner made her modelling debut in the show which took place in an industrial space in Manhattan by the Hudson River.
The 17-year-old beauty stunned on the catwalk with her raven hair slicked back, sporting one the collection's iconic bodysuits and was supported by her mother Kris Jenner and her sisters, Kendall Jenner and Khloe Kardashian.
Kanye, 37, also took the opportunity to debut his new track 'Wolves', which was co-written with 'Chandelier' hitmaker Sia and Chicago rapper Vic Mensa, as the soundtrack to the show.
Sheffield's very own all girl group Pretty Fierce are still on a high after the recent release of their debut single - 'Ready For Me'.
