Rapper Kanye West thanked the staff at the New York City hotel where he and Jay Z recorded the album Watch The Throne with a pack of complimentary tickets to the duo's New Jersey concert on Saturday night (05Nov11).
The hitmakers took over the second floor of the Mercer Hotel to produce the masterpiece and the two stars were so pleased with the quality of service they received as working guests, West invited them to their performance at the Izod Center.
A staff member tells the New York Post, "We were all provided with complimentary tickets, and Kanye personally thanked each team member for attending. The seats were amazing and he was such a gentleman."
