Kanye thinks the beef between the two streaming services is “f***ing” up the music industry.
Kanye West wants music streaming services Apple and Tidal to just get along. On Saturday afternoon the rapper took to Twitter to call on the two to end their beef, for the sake of the music industry.

“This Tidal Apple beef is f***ing up the music game,” Kanye tweeted. The ‘Famous’ rapper then called on Apple CEO Tim Cook, Tidal owner Jay Z, Drake, music manager Scooter Braun and Apple Music’s Jimmy Iovine and Larry Jackson to get on the phone with him.

“I need Tim Cook Jay Z Dez Jimmy Larry me and Drake Scooter on the phone or in a room this week!!!” he continued. “Fuck all this d**k swinging contest. We all gon be dead in 100 Years. Let the kids have the music.”
Presumably referencing reports that Apple was in talks to purchase Tidal from Jay Z, Kanye told the company to, “give Jay his check for Tidal now and stop trying to act like you Steve (Jobs).” Kanye is one of Tidal’s list of celebrity co-owners, which also includes Beyonce, Madonna Chris Martin and Calvin Harris.

Last month the Wall Street Journal reported that Apple were in talks to purchase Tidal. The newspaper claimed that Apple was in “exploratory talks” with its competitor, but added that it might not result in a deal. However Tidal has denied that its executives have ever discussed a possible deal with Apple.
