The rapper wants to create “a minimalist apartment inside of a college dorm,” but the Swedish furniture company aren't interested right now.
Kanye West already has a successful collaboration with Adidas, but the rapper is now looking to branch out into the world of furniture design. Appearing on Radio One, West said he’d “love” to work on his own range with Swedish furniture giant IKEA. But as amazing as the idea might sound, IKEA just aren’t interested in working with Yeezy at the moment.

Speaking as a potential customer, West then said: “Yo IKEA, allow Kanye to create, allow him to make this thing because you know what, I want a bed that he makes, I want a chair that he makes – I want more products from Ye”.
But when asked about a possible IKEA and Yezzy collab, an IKEA spokesperson told CNBC that it wasn't on the cards right now. "At IKEA we are constantly curious about different people, companies, artists and events around the world,” the spokesperson said.
“To have these connections and inspiring meetings is an important way for us to find new ways to create a better everyday life for the many people. Although we are really flattered by Kanye West's high interest in IKEA and the speculation around a joint venture, we have no plans to collaborate at this point in time.”
