The rapper is looking to recreate his projectionist stunt once again over the course of tonight
Kanye West debuted the new song 'New Slaves' in the most Yeezey-est of styles last Friday; by projecting various images throughout a number of cities across the globe with the musical accompaniment of the track. Now, over the course of this weekend, the rapper plans on doing the same again.
The rapper updated his website today (May 24), a full week after the projection stunt, featuring a world map with various markings of where his next round of projections will take place over the coming days. The first set of projections are due to take place tonight across Europe, with the American screenings happening later this weekend (presumably tonight).
According to Def Jam France, the rapper will not be airing a new song, but rather will be re-playing 'New Slaves' again for those who missed it the first time round. The French division of the hip hop record label posted "Screening of #NewSlave #KanyeWest at the Palais des festivals in Cannes: 9.30 pm" on their Twitter this evening.
Yeezy, who's new album is brilliantly (depending on how you look at it) titled Yeezus, unveiled his first two tracks to the world last Saturday (May 18) when he played 'New Slaves' and 'Black Skinhead' on Saturday Night Live. The hip hop superstar is planning on going on tour straight after he releases the long-awaited Yeesuz, with his girlfriend Kim Kardashian and their newborn baby joining him.
