Kanye West will be unveiling his new album Waves at an exclusive premiere show at New York’s Madison Square Garden next week, which will also be broadcast live in select cinemas across the world.

The 38 year old rapper has been working on his seventh studio album Waves for nearly three years, and announced on Monday (February 1st) that he’ll be performing the entire album at 4pm (ET) on Thursday February 11th. The event had been rumoured for weeks, after vague details had appeared on Ticketmaster’s website.

Tickets for ‘Kanye West / Season 3 / Waves’ are now on sale, with a note underneath the event reading: “This program is not rated and may not be suitable for children under 18. Parental discretion is advised.” A list of the participating cinemas that will be screening the broadcast can be seen here.

Waves itself is released on February 11th, having undergone two title changes in the last year. Having already released tracks from it including ‘Wolves’, ‘Fade’, ‘No More Parties in L.A.’ and ‘Real Friends’, it was once called So Help Me God and, until last week, Swish.

Also on Monday, it was rumoured that Odd Future founder Tyler, The Creator could be guest starring on Waves, after being photographed in a recording studio by one of Kanye’s collaborators. Tracey Mills took a picture of Tyler looking at a notepad similar to the one West used to reveal the new album’s tracklisting, writing as a caption. “Wolf gang in the building #Waves 2|11|16.”
