New dad Kanye will be working with the French fashion chain on a limited clothing line that will be released on July 14
Kanye West's dream of expanding his persona into the fashion world won't be put on ice just because he's a dad now, as the rapper has teamed up with French fashion brand A.P.C. for an exclusive line of clothing. A.P.C. announced the collaboration with Kanye last week, updating their Instagram page with the details of the collaboration, which will hit shops on July 14.

The fashion house gave us our 'first look' at the collaboration with an extreme close-up picture of a pair of jeans, which essentially only shows us what the label looks like, but it is quite a snazzy label. Since the Instagram announcement, we have also learnt that Kanye's collection will consist of only three things (he is going through a minimalist phase after all), including a t-shirt, a hoodie and a pair of jeans - surprisingly not leather pants.
Kanye does love him some leather pants
Kanye has made no secret of his love of fashion and desire to one day produce his own fashion line, having spent many a fashion week sat in the front row of various catwalk shows. He also designed his own line of women's clothes, which was roundly panned and ignored by fashionistas, not to mention his shoe design he did with Giuseppe Zanotti - the same shoe design that wasn't picked up by any retail outlet.
With a history like that his A.P.C. line could end up being a complete disaster, not that that would deter him from giving up fashion for good. No prices or distribution details have be announced either, but we'll keep you posted on details as they emerge (whatever the final price, be prepared to fork out).
