It seems Kanye West does have more emotions than just anger. The 37-year-old rap star recently became visibly upset, even shedding tears, when he opened up about the late fashion professor Louise Wilson.
West began to cry when talking about his late fashion mentor, Louise Wilson
While being interviewed by BBC Radio 1's Zane Lowe, West had to take a short break after he began to cry during the middle of a discussion about his "inspirational" friend, who died in May last year after a battle with breast cancer.
"Last time I saw her," West recalled, while breaking up, "we had dinner at Hakkasan, which is my favourite restaurant in London. And I think she knew that she was going to pass, and she just wanted to give me some words of advice moving forward, and she was asking me about my daughter, asked me about my wife...and she said, you know, 'So many students, they don't give it their all, and the problem is, soon as they do anything halfway good when they're 2 years old, 3 years old, their parents clap.'"

This prompted Zane to begin clapping.
"Exactly," the rapper agreed. "They clap. And she just looked at me and she said, 'Kanye, don't clap.'"
The emotional hip-hop star continued, "I didn't know we were going to lose her...and she told me, she said, you know, 'Thank you for the times where I came to performances and this has like really meant a lot to me, with...'"
At this point, West found it too upsetting to continue and covered his face with both hands while he began to cry. After Zane patted him on the back and said, "We'll take a minute," West briefly left the studio.
