The All of the Lights hitmaker's G.O.O.D. Music artist Malik Yusef alleged the rapper's trip to France for Paris Fashion Week had been marred by the theft of his personal computer in a Twitter.com post early on Wednesday (11Mar15).

He wrote, "We have the PRIVATE INVESTIGATION FIRMS ON TOP OF @kanyewest STOLEN LAPTOP (sic)!!!!!"

Yusef did not elaborate on when or where the laptop went missing, but it appeared to explain the leak of a new Kanye track, titled Awesome, a tribute to his reality star wife, which surfaced online hours later.

The alleged culprit even set up a Twitter account under the name @kanyelaptop, and claimed to have found the Apple MACbook in "one of the bookbags (which) got left behind" at a venue in Paris.

The person responsible has posted tweets reaching out to West and Kardashian, listing the address of where the laptop was found, and telling followers about the content of the files saved on the machine, including details about his heavily rumoured joint tour with Rihanna, purported lyrics from a track in which he takes aim at his ex-girlfriend Amber Rose, and an alleged 2016 fashion collaboration between his current collaborators at Adidas and designers at rival firm Nike, with whom he has previously worked.

The 'thief' has also revealed he or she will leak a West track, called YZ 2.0, reportedly from his upcoming album, So Help Me God, once the new social media account attracts 100,000 followers.

A spokesperson for West's label Def Jam Recordings tells XXLMag.com the rapper's laptop was never stolen, but the Twitter user has responded to the denial, defiantly writing, "I still have it, authorities can't take anything that I found."
