Kaley Cuoco wants to have children.

The 'Big Bang Theory' actress and tennis player Ryan Sweeting got engaged this summer after just three months of dating, and Kaley is reportedly keen to start a family as soon as possible.

The star was seen cooing over a baby at an event for children's charity Shane's Inspiration in Los Angeles last month and the adorable infant has apparently made her feel broody.

A source told the National Enquirer magazine: ''Kaley couldn't keep her hands off that little baby. She said, 'Oh I want one of these - and I want it right now!

''Kaley doesn't care if she gets pregnant before she and Ryan walk down the aisle. In fact, she'd be thrilled if she did. That's because they don't plan on tying the knot for at least a year.''

Kaley previously admitted her whirlwind romance with athlete Ryan might seem ''crazy'', but she knew instantly he was the man for her.

She said: ''I know that it seems a little crazy on paper. But it's what works for us. From day one I just knew immediately and it's been magic.

''We have all the same family friends. We grew up with the same people, we just never met. So I kind of feel that I've known him my whole life.''
