Kaley Cuoco surprised her mother with a new car for Christmas.

The 'Big Bang Theory' star presented her mom, Layne Ann Cuoco, with a $50,000 dark blue Lexus RX350 outside her house in Los Angeles on Monday (23.12.13).

The 28-year-old actress and her family, including her father, Gary Cuoco, and younger sister, Briana Cuoco, celebrated the arrival of the early gift with glasses of champagne, according to UsMagazine.com, and Layne was shocked by her daughter's generous gesture.

Kaley's fiancé, Ryan Sweeting, was not on hand for the unveiling of the car but they are expected to celebrate Christmas together tomorrow (25.12.13) before tying the knot on New Year's Eve (31.12.13).

A source recently revealed that the couple's the big day would be followed by a fire-and-ice-themed party with cocktails and guests dancing into the small hours.

The actress' representative first confirmed her engagement in September, just three months after the couple started dating, and a few days after they made their red-carpet debut together at a pre-Emmys party.

Speaking after Ryan popped the question, Kaley said: ''I know that it seems a little crazy on paper. But it's what works for us.''

Shortly after leaving her parents house, the blonde beauty revealed her mother wants her to meet British actress Judy Dench.

Kaley wrote on Twitter: ''My adorable mom just texted me saying, 'watching 'Skyfall'. You really need to meet Judy Dench'. K mom I'll get right on that! (sic)''
