Kaley Cuoco tells David Leterrman, "It all did move quite fast on paper, but we really did know," when discussing marrying tennis pro Ryan Sweeting, after only meeting for the first time five months prior.
Kaley Cuoco is now a married women, but her journey to tying the knot was considerably fast.
The 28 year-old actress recently discussed her whirlwind romance with tennis pro Ryan Sweeting on Monday's episode of 'Late Show With David Letterman'.
Cuoco, who married Sweeting this past New Year's Eve (2013), opened up to how she first met her husband.
"We met on a blind date," she recalled, and after enjoying each other's company, she said, "we texted a little bit, dinner was great, and then he moved in the next day."
The 'Bit Bang Theory' star knows how it may seem a bit hasty, and not normal, but she did state, "It sounds so slutty, but it wasn't."
"It all did move quite fast on paper, but we really did know," she said, referring to becoming engaged to Sweeting after dating for only three months.
Sweeting asked Couco to marry him in September 2013.
"I'm totally married," the blonde beauty claimed. "I know you're all thinking, 'She's nuts!' I swear I'm not nuts! We were throwing a New Year's Eve party anyway, and I was like, 'Let's throw a ceremony in the party and not tell anybody.'"
At first what was meant to be a secret wedding ended up constantly being reported on by different news outlets because of the Kaley's inability to keep her mouth shut.
"There'd be all these articles, and my husband would be like, 'How does everyone know we're getting married?'" she told David. "And I'd be like, 'I do not know. I do not know.'"
And speaking of moving fast, the couple, who are moving house in the next couple of weeks, have already added an addition to their family.
"[A peacock] came with the house!" Cuoco explained. "He's officially joined the family."
