The couple wed in a lavish ceremony on New Years Eve 2013, at a Southern California ranch surrounded by friends and family. It was a whirlwind romance, with Cuoco telling David Letterman in February 2014 that Sweeting had moved to her home after just days of dating.
Sweeting then proposed in September 2013 after dating for three months, just days before they made their red carpet debut as a couple at the 2013 Emmy awards. But in recent months their marriage had been rumoured to be on the rocks, with Cuoco having to defend their relationship on her Instagram page.
In April Cuoco shared a pic of her husband with the caption, "I have never been more proud of anyone on this planet — this guy is fighting back from a whirlwind of injuries and not to mention constant 'conversation' regarding our marriage and basically any daily decision we decide to make.”
