Justin Timberlake will reunite with his former *Nsync bandmates at the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday (25Aug13), according to a U.S. report.
The Cry Me A River hitmaker will take to the stage during the event at New York's Barclays Center to accept the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award, following in the footsteps of his ex-girlfriend Britney Spears, Madonna and Janet Jackson.
According to the New York Post, Timberlake is planning to reunite with JC Chasez, Lance Bass, Joey Fatone and Chris Kirkpatrick for their first performance together in nearly a decade.
The band has not performed since 2004, but released greatest hits albums in 2005 and 2010.
Rumours about the reunion come just days after the former *Nsync stars were spotted in the Vip area of Timberlake's concert with Jay Z at the Sun Life Stadium in Miami, Florida on Friday (16Aug13).
