Justin Timberlake scrapped his Wednesday night (19Feb14) Madison Square Garden gig in New York for "health reasons".

The Cry Me a River singer took to Twitter.com on Wednesday afternoon to alert fans to the fact he was too sick for the show.

He wrote, "Hey Ny. There is never an easy way to do this... Unfortunately, I have to postpone tonight's show to Friday due to health reasons.

"I am truly sorry to everyone that have tickets for tonight. It kills me to have to do this. I hope to see you all on Friday."

Neither Timberlake nor his representatives have explained what is ailing the pop superstar.
