Justin Timberlake and his wife Jessica Biel are suing the editors of a European magazine for defamation.

The couple's lawyer, Paul Tweed, has filed separate proceedings on behalf of the superstar couple to the publishers of Heat magazine, Bauer Consumer Media.

The Timberlakes claim Heat magazine editors published an article last month (Sep14) which contained quotes attributed to Biel.

Tweed says, "We have issued defamation proceedings on behalf of our clients, Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel, in relation to an article and a headline in Heat magazine. We are suing in Ireland in relation to publication in all jurisdictions, as our clients are entitled to do."
