Justin Timberlake’s first concert in four years will take place on Super Bowl weekend, according to a report from The Hollywood Reporter. The former ‘N Sync star, who just released new song ‘Suit & Tie’ online. Timberlake’s new concert is an invite-only affair and will be a benefit concert for Shriners Hospital for Children.
The concert will form part of DirecTV Super Saturday Night, in New Orleans, which takes place on Saturday February 2, 2013. The evening’s entertainment will also feature a DJ set from Questlove, both before and after Justin’s set, which will take place at the DTV SuperFan Stadium in New Orleans. We’re not sure how much of the set will be old favourites like ‘Cry Me A River’ and how much will be his mew material but he’ll be sure to perform ‘Suit & Tie,’ which he debuted on the new-look MySpace earlier this month.
The event is part of the seventh annual Celebrity Beach Bowl event. This year, the celebrity footballers include Josh Hutcherson, Snoop Dogg… sorry, Snoop Lion, Chase Crawford, Jenny McCarthy, Matt Bomer, Nina Dobrev and Chrissy Teigen. With Beyonce performing at the actual Super Bowl and providing the half-time entertainment there, we’re wondering what the chances are of Jay Z joining Justin for his guest slot on ‘Suit & Tie?’
