Justin Bieber vowed to battle through his illness for a show in Argentina, and then, just didn't.
We’re not sure of the specifics of Justin Bieber’s diet – well, we could probably guess – but the little pop crooner is quickly gaining himself a reputation for having the worst immune system in pop.
We say immune system, he’s also established himself as the biggest whining baby in pop too, but that’s another story. Anyway, after nabbing the Best Male at the MTV Europe Awards on Sunday (November 10, 2013), Biebs revealed he had come down with a serious case of food poisoning.
“Sitting here with food poisoning and heard we won #bestmale at the #EMAs. Thanks everyone,” he tweeted.
Despite the illness, Justin vowed to perform his scheduled gig in Argentina.
“Argentina been a rough day but the show must go on. I'm coming,” he went on. “This sucks. #sick food poisoning.”
Only…Bieber was forced to quit the stage for the second time during his South American tour, drawing boos from the huge crowd in Buenos Aires’ River Plate stadium. “I'm not feeling too good, I think I'm out of energy, he told fans who had paid up to $320 to see him.
Bieber posted a ‘selfie’ on Twitter showing himself receiving intravenous fluids – which no doubt made him instantly forgiven.
It’s been a gaffe-ridden tour for Bieber, who was charged with vandalism for spray painting graffiti in Rio de Janeiro last week. He was almost photographed leaving a brothel and was filmed sleeping in bed by a Brazilian woman – which went viral in less than 24 hours.
