Justin Bieber has paid tribute to the survivors of the Japanese tsunami disaster after meeting a group of children from the devastated town of Otsuchi.
The Baby hitmaker has been on tour in the Far Eastern country and pledged the profits from his gig in Osaka on Tuesday (17May11) to relief efforts following the earthquake and tidal wave that hit the region in March (11).
On Wednesday (18May11) the teen singer took time out of his busy schedule to meet children affected by the disaster, which left 25,000 victims dead or missing - and he later took to his Twitter.com page to praise the youngsters for their courage.
He writes, "Just met some incredible kids who have been thru (through) alot (sic) because of the devastation here in Japan. Blessed to meet them and proud to know them. When you meet kids like that... with all their strength and courage to move on you realize the important things in life."
