The Boyfriend hitmaker was ordered to serve five days of manual labour last summer (14) and enrol in an anger management course as part of his punishment for allegedly hurling eggs at his former neighbour's property in a gated community in Calabasas, California in January, 2014.

He completed the therapy portion of his sentence in May (15), and during a progress hearing on Monday (03Aug15), Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Leland Harris revealed he was satisfied that Bieber is complying with the terms of his probation.

He then gave the singer, who did not attend the hearing, extra time to fulfil his community service, which was previously delayed after he sustained an ankle injury.

Bieber's lawyer revealed the star is close to finishing the work.

The pop superstar will remain on probation until 2016. He settled the $80,000 (£50,000) in restitution he was ordered to pay his victim, Jeff Schwartz, last year (14) and has since moved out of the area.

However, the 22 year old's legal woes aren't over - Schwartz is suing the star for the emotional distress caused by his bad behaviour.
